Dorothy Williams Wise was born in Shreveport, La. on August 28, 1955 to the late John Wesley and Estella Williams. She accepted Christ at an early age at New Morning Star MBC and was a faithful member until her health failed. She was employed by Walmart as a door greeter. She was preceded in death by her loving mother and father and a brother Curtis Williams of Pine Bluff, Ark. Dorothy ascended from this earthly life June 7, 2013 in Houston, Texas. She leave to cherish four children, Chaketa Williams, Anthony Wise, Tiffany Wise all of Houston, Texas and Jennifer Brown of Pine Bluff, Ark., three grandchildren, Simone’ Williams, Matthew Robinson, and Wesley Williams whom she raised, two sisters, Girtie Williams of Pine Bluff, Ark. and Barbara Williams of Houston, Texas, two brothers Jerry (J.B.) Williams and Charles Williams both of in Pine Bluff, Ark. and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 14, 2013 at New Morning Star MBC by Rev. Donald Agee. Burial will be in Cypress Memorial Gardens by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Family Hour/Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the church Friday from 10:15 a.m. until service time. The family will be at 1006 South Ohio Street, Pine Bluff.
