Dost_pagasa 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued at: 5:00AM 08August 2013 SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 am today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 190 km East of Davao City (7.3ºN, 127.4ºE) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) across Mindanao. FORECAST: Eastern Visayas and CARGA Region will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. MIMAROPA, Bicol Region and the rest of Visayas and of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds blowing from the Northeast to Southeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and coming from the Northeast to Northwest over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
