Dosto, The Zindagi Fest was over....Morning of Republic Day yesterday, me and Maj Vishwas started chatting, much before declaration of the Fest results by Ravi Sir...Notice how the conversation twists... Raj-- hi Maj, which army regiment were u in ? Maj-- I was in the EME and you boss ?!! Raj-- omg....My closest friend in MBH Baroda...joined and commissioned eme in dec 1986...would u know him ?i did bsc from msu.. Maj-- Me too got commissioned in dec 86 who was your friend I am sure I would know him a pause Maj--Jaldi bataiye na koun hai aapka friend from MBH ??? Raj-- lost touch...this idiot left no tracks of himself....his pic was seen last in the Eagles 1997(EME Magazine)... HARJIT SINGH NOTAY.... Maj-- Oh my God, he has been a very good friend of mine too ... yes I know him as H S Notay ... we did 2-3 courses together and he was posted with me in 3 EME Centre Bhopal in 1992-93 we used to be in the bar together at MCEMC Secunderabad and EME School Baroda and ofcourse Bhopal too..!! Raj-- How to locate him? Maj-- aap kahan ho aajkal mujhe hi kuch karna padega dhoondhoonga use ... hai to mushkil par milega jaroor Raj-- Iam in Borivali....retd in jun last.... Maj-- retired from ?? Raj-- Indian Navy....Harjit did engg...i did BSc from MSU...I joined Navy as pilot, 1979...he joined eme later....Me retd CO, Naval NCC, mumbai Maj Vishwas Mandloi-- Wow great.!! .. so I got another friend from the Armed Force With this as the backdrop, friends, let me tell you all, Harjit Singh Notay was my Best friend in Military Boys Hostel (MBH) Baroda....We used to roam around together, see movies together, share each others feelings and thoughts...After he joined Army , I was in touch with him via letters (no mobiles/ internet)....He too, like our Maj Vishwas, had left Army in 1997, without a trace...I dont have his chandigarh address...I have tried locating him through FB, still in vain... If at all Maj is successful in reuniting two lost friends...Wont it be a victory for him ?...Wont it be a victory of YKDN Zindagi Fest ?... More than that it would definitely be a victory of our Admin, Ravi Sir.
