Dot Net Developer - US Based MNC - Bangalore Role: Dot Net Developer Exp: 6 to 8 yrs Work Location: Bangalore Principal Responsibilities: • Responsible for designing, coding, testing, de bugging, evaluating, and documenting new application software development on windows platform. • Designing and developing new .net and C# applications • Unit testing of the application • Conform to standard practices and processes as used by Ingersoll Rand. • Interfacing with overseas counterparts frequently to resolve issues. • Peer reviews for code and design • Keep informed of technical developments in the field of software development and constantly improve ability and knowledge. • Use of version management and bug tracking tools • Quickly develop the domain knowledge • Beta/production support for the application Required Skills: • The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering • Experience developing GUI • Must have experience in working with any Database. Preferably SQL Server • Good OOAD knowledge, Good hold on design patterns • Experience in Socket Programming, Multi-Threading • Good analytical and communication skills, Great team player • Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and SW debugging skills required • Must be conversant with using source code control and defect tracking tools. • Extensive experience with UI design, Hardware interaction (socket programming, device drivers etc). • Must demonstrate flexibility for work hours to meet important customer deliverables and project deadlines Desirable Skills • Working Knowledge on C++.
