Douglas L. Maine, Alpha Beta (Temple University) 70 Wall Street Day Host & Panelist Doug is a 1970 graduate from the Alpha Beta Chapter at Temple University where he was President and the winner of 1970’s Jerome Heffer Award as ZBT’s outstanding chapter president. After graduation, Brother Maine joined ZBT’s National staff and would stay on board until 1978. Following his tenure as a professional staff member, he went on to receive his MBA from Hofstra University. Brother Maine joined IBM in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer, following a twenty year career with MCI (now part of Verizon) where he was Chief Financial Officer from 1992 to 1998. In addition to his tenure as CFO, Maine held a variety of executive positions including General Manager of IBMs Consumer Products Industry, General Manager of ibm, and President of MCIs Southern Division. After retiring from IBM in 2005, Maine began to serve on the boards of three public companies: Rockwood Holdings, Inc. since 2005, Alliant Techsystems Inc. since 2006, and BroadSoft Inc. since 2006. Additionally, he is a Limited Partner and Senior Advisor to Brown Brothers Harriman and serves as a director on three of BBH Capital Partners portfolio companies. His service with the Fraternity includes chapter advisor for the Delta Chapter (Columbia University), Governance Committee Member for the ZBT Foundation, and a member of countless committees.
