Dove Stroganoff ~ 18 dove breasts, skin removed ~ salt & pepper to taste ~ 1/4 tsp oregano ~ 1/4 tsp rosemary ~ 1/2 cup white cooking wine ~ 1 medium onion, chopped ~ 1 can cream of celery soup ~ 1 can (8-oz) mushroom pieces ~ 1 cup (8-oz) sour cream ~ 3 Tbsp butter or margarine Place dove breasts in large baking dish. Saute onions in butter. Mix remaining ingredients, except sour cream. Pour over doves. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Add sour cream and stir. Continue baking uncovered for 20 additional minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.
