Down 11.5 pounds since start of Lent (Ash Wednesday). 7.18 miles on elliptical at level 9 in one hour and 5 minute cool down. 40 minutes weight training (no breaks). Just doing what I should have been doing all my life: exercise and better eating habits. FYI: for Lent- no sodas, cookies, cakes, candy, cheese dip (my cheater food), seconds [ I never have seconds because Im still hungry.]. Then there is the do list: read bible readings every day (the Catholic daily mass readings: OT, Psalm, and Gospel), Saint of the day, Lenten devotional readings, almsgiving and extra time in the classroom of silence (prayer). Thank you Jesus for allowing me to focus during these 40 days on ALL you did for me, your unworthy sinful brother. :)
