Downsizing again … just when I thought it could not get any smaller … Jeni and I started out 32 years ago in 1Br student housing (500sf), went through various apartments, building up to our first townhome in DC, then on to bigger and bigger homes in cool places like Midtown Atlanta, peaked at 5bed/3bath and started back down to a townhome, and for the last year back to a 1Br apartment (500sf) in student house. Now we are going to be renting a single room (144 sf) in a very large house. The good part is we will go from a 6ft kitchen to a 20ft luxury kitchen and much more closet space. Jeni is an amazing women. I got her to live in a jungle tree house one summer with lizards but have not brought up the yurt idea yet.
