Downsizing because of a life change such as pay cut, reduction in hours, job change, divorce or separation, illness with loss of work, or other change of life situation can be a humbling thing. But to keep your family afloat and moving forward, at times, it is a necessity. Emotions can run high and be crippling to progress. But prayerfully consider what is most important, making sure your family has what is needed. You may seek budget or credit counseling if it is too overwhelming for you or you may undertake the venture yourself to seek and make alternate arrangements for your family. I pray you consider less about what others think or how it looks and consider more about making the best decisions for your household. I have lived through downsizing and you can too.
