Dowry Harassment drives women to suicide Hyderabad : A 22-year-old house wife committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Kalapathar. According to Kalapathar police, the deceased Sameena Sultana W/o Mohammed Ishaq R/o Kalapathar had committed suicide by hanging at her residence on Thursday night hours, deceased husband and in laws allegedly mentally and physically harassed for additional dowry for last few months, deceased taking extreme step of suicide hanged herself on Thursday night hours. Sameena married with Ishaq in the year 2011, they had one son and one daughter, for last few months allegedly being mentally and physically harassed by her husband and In laws. Kalapathar police registered a case of dowry harassment against her husband and In laws and dead body shifted to OGH Mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to her parents and began investigation.
