Doylestown Borough Snow Emergency Declared for 6:00am Monday In anticipation of the incoming winter storm, Doylestown Mayor Strouse has declared that effective 6:00am Monday January 16, 2015, a Snow Emergency will be in effect for Doylestown Borough. No parking restrictions will be in effect for the designated Snow Emergency Routes, and these road are also restricted to vehicles with four wheel drive or snow chains. Vehicles left parked on these designated Emergency Snow Routes are subject to towing if the owners cannot be located. On the non-snow emergency routes residents are asked to voluntarily remove cars from the streets when possible to facilitate more effective road and parking lane clearing. The Borough Public Works crews will be working round the clock to keep the towns roads open and our citizens cooperation is always helpful and appreciated.
