Dr. Cale has provided some information about how UNA will manage the weather situation that we face for the next 24 hours or so. 1) Kilby School. Kilby will make its own determination about whether to close or remain open. Should Kilby alter normal hours, those faculty and staff who need to make special arrangements to pick up children should feel free to do so without the need to use leave time. Please do, however, alert your supervisor about your plans. 2) UNA will remain open unless notice to the contrary is provided. Everyone should take a moment to locate the safe area closest to their work space and be prepared to move there if an emergency arises. We will keep close tabs on developing weather and provide notice via email, LION ALERT, and the web, if a dangerous situation develops. 3) Award Banquet. A final determination about the academic and student affairs awards banquet scheduled for this evening will be made this afternoon about 3:30. A notice will be transmitted announcing the status of that event at that time.
