Dr. Daryl Chesley, Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Leadership, has resigned from Hanover County Public Schools, according to county school officials. He has acknowledged personal reasons for his departure. Chesley was appointed to his most recent position in September 2011. “Dr. Chesley has provided significant leadership to our instructional program over the past 3 years. He has overseen the implementation of our new student information system across the school division and has maintained a keen focus on student achievement, providing support to our school leaders daily. As we continue our mission focused on instruction and student achievement , the school division will begin advertising for the position during the next few weeks with the intent of hiring when a suitable replacement is found,” Dr. Jamelle Wilson, Superintendent of Schools, said.
