Dr.Freddie Gage was a GIANT in my eyes.He witnessed to every person He met when I was with him and he was one of the best friends I had for over 35 years.He begged The LORD to share HIS burden for souls each night I was with him in his hotel room praying before his crusades.He was a Godly man and an incredible husband,father,and grandfather.He always ask me how my Bethany was doing during her turbulent times and constantly complimented my Brittany.Her was a voice crying in the wilderness.He did more to challenge the SBC to stay true to evangelism.He was respected by ALL leaders in the SBC.He did more to encourage pulpit commitees to take a look at evandelistic biblical pastors than any one.When I had emergency surgery as a seminary student for paratinitus he raised 15 thousand dollars and came to the hospital to visit me many times.When pastors or their families were struggling with life dominating issues he formed Wounded Heroes to help pay their bills or save their marriages.When churches wanted to run their pastor off for no reason he confronted them.When I had a stroke 4 years ago he called me every day.Im believe the reason Southern Baptist baptisms have been declining over recent years is because of health reasons he could no longer hold our beloved denomination accountable.His hearrt for people was unparalled.His compassion for people was pure.His love for family was unsurpassed.His courage was unquestionable.His loved for the lost was unsurpassed.His influence on my life was matchless.My love and respect for All the Gage family is steadfast,life long,and unchanging.When you are in the presence of any of the Gage men or grandchildren you are in the presence of GREATNESS.I LOVE YOU FREDDIE.
