Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alhaji Adamu Muazu, the National Chairman of the Rulling Democratic Party, PDP and other Partys Leaders welcoming Dr. Olusegun Mimiko a.k.a. Iroko, the incumbent Governor of Ondo State to the Largest Political Party in Africa, PDP following his defection from the Labour Party. PDP had earlier welcomed Dr. Ali Modu Sheriff, who, was a two-time Senator and a two-time Governor of Borno State, as well as, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the former EFCC Boss, a Presidential candidate of the defunct ACN in the 2011 General Election and the Chairman of the Petroleum Revenue Task Force, an office he assumed in 2012. Brigadier-General Muhammed Buba Marwa, the former Military Administrator of both Borno and Lagos State, as well as, Mr Marcus Gundiri, the former Governorship candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (APC) in the 2011 Gubernatorial election in Borno state had both defected to the PDP from APC. Interestingly, both Buba Marwa and Marcus Gundiri along with Mallam Nuhu Ribadu were all in the race to win the PDP governorship ticket of the Borno state in the forthcoming Gubernatorial Election slated for October 11, 2014. Meanwhile, Chief Tom Ikimi, the former Foreign Affairs Minister and a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has reportedly concluded plans to return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which he left nearly 10 years ago to support President Goodluck Jonathan second term ambition. Hope to see many defectors day by day. PDP ...... Power to the People!
