Today, the ugly, little, sick puppy that I picked up in a Walmart parking lot in AL w/ that dead hair who was WAY too skinny & WAY too skittish turns 11. Shes my best friend, my first child, & on the worst of days, the reason I smile. She checks me for fleas, argues with me, steals most of my food, & is a champion snuggler. Shes been through a couple boyfriends w/ me, a wonderful husband, a couple colleges, dental school, a few moves, the start of two businesses, the death of my grandfather, the news that 4-legged babies may be the only Id have & has made the last 11 years so much better!
