Dr Masud Choudhary released two books on Gujjars A book release function was organised at Jammu press club by civil society for art and literature Jammu, today. On the occasion Two books were released, titled Gujjar Gandhi and Mahak Panjal ki the first one is the biography of Ch Gulam Hussian Lassanvi,a famous mass leader of Poonch and Rajouri, who lived his life for the upliftment of Gujjar community by contributing his every moment to motivate and encourage them, to come out of the inhumanly life besides encouraging them to send their children to schools. The second one is a research document on various topics. Function was presided over by Dr Masud Ahmed Choudhary, former Vice chancellor BGSBU Rajouri. The books are authored by Haji Fazal Hussain Mushtaq who remained an academician by profession and rendered more than 35 years of service in the field of education and over four decades of dedications towards Gojari prose and poetry. The book Gujjar Gandhiis a paradigm of his untiring efforts to bring out the circumstances that shaped the Gujjar renaissance, where as Mehak Panjal ki beautifully delineates various facts of life and culture of Gujjars. Both the books are in Gojari language Speaking on the occasion Dr. Masud choudhary highlited the contributions of unsung Hero Late Gulam hussain Lassanvi and appreciated the hard work and marvellous piece of work done by Haji Fazal Hussain Mushtaq by writing such a biography and research work. Mr. Khalid Hussain a famous Panjabi writer and rtd. Deputy Commissioner was guest of honour. Mr. Suhail Kazmi the respected media personality spoke at length about the down trodden communities like, Gujjars, pahadi and Dogras and emphasised upon the literary people to carry out such kind of work for their languages to intact the culture and contribution of so many people like It. Lassanvi Sab. Ch.Amin Qamar and Haji Fazal Mushtaq also shared their experiences about the wonderful creation of literature. A galaxy of writers, eminent personalities and respectable citizens attended the function.
