Dr. Michael Stewart from the Stewart Equine Clinic in Windsor came to the barn a few months ago to assess Tylers lameness. He did lots of flexions and watched him go on the lunge and felt around his body. Without doing an internal ultra sound ($$$) on Tylers hip he said this machine would fix whatever is wrong with it with only one try (old injury, cant x-ray hip unless put horse completely out and flip horse upside down in an equine vet hospital). So first question I asked was, Is he pretty much a pasture ornament? Stewart said no. I asked, Does he have a broken pelvis? Dr. Stewart said no the pelvis isnt involved. I asked, Is his stifle involved? Dr. Stewart said no but it could be if the problem gets worse and if it gets worse his back would be involved too but his back is good. Then I asked, So after this I can show him and it will be fine for the rest of his life? Dr. Stewart said I would be able to show him and the machine would only need to be used once for Tyler.
