Dr N K Jaiswals book. Published in 1997 - Dr Jaiswal was the Director of my Lab in DRDO - perhaps the only lab in India that was using Systems Analysis/ Operations Research to address India Security problems .. He was the longest serving director of the lab ... This is the one of the first five copies of his book ... He gave me one personally signed by him in his neat small efficient handwriting ... The book is only one of its kind in the world ... Having contributed in almost half of these chapters .. This was a great encouragement to me as a young scientist . . this act of his resulted in me publishing around 10 papers in 1998 ... Before that I never thought of writing and publishing papers. Dr. Jaiswal passed away in 1999. But he gave me a life long passion to write. In fact since I wrote the chapter on AHP in his book ... I expanded that to my own book published in 2004 with applications of AHP in business defence and governance Feeling nostalgic .... Arun Dayal
