Dr. Plummer just called, he spoke with the radiologist & they both concur that the cyst seems to be the cause of Poppers issue with walking. Surgery is scheduled for Thursday morning...it will start around 10am & they expect it to last around 4 hours. Poppers will be in the hospital until Friday evening or Saturday morning depending on his condition and vitals in recovery. We will have a post op appt 10-14 days later. Poppers will NOT have a cone or any bandaging on his incision site so keeping him separate from my dogs to prevent any injury is important. If anyone has moveable fencing that I could use for 2 weeks to keep him separated that would be great! Also, any puzzle toys would be of great help to keep him occupied. Im sure he will be feeling a bit down & confused so any fun things to cheer him up would be appreciated!
