Dr Raghav called yesterday. Remember how neither of my CTs had been read by the radiologist yet? Those reports came back with the same findings that Dr Raghav discussed with me. Brain CT was ALL CLEAR! The next thing he wanted to speak with me about was his meeting with the tumor board. Apparently they out voted him and think its in my best interest to have a bronchoscopy biopsy done on the suspicious lung nodules. To rule out three things: cholangiocarcinoma mets, sarcoidosis, or another different cancer in its beginning stages. Im pretty glad they decided on that. Even though its one more procedure and biopsy to add to the list, at least once this is done we will know 100% sure what it is. Then we can treat it however we need to without any guessing. He wants it done with pathology back in time for my next appointment which is on December 2. So more than likely well be scheduling it Monday and having it done within the next week or two. Hes calling Dr Wood to have her order it so I can have it done in AL. Ill update you guys when I have the rest of the information. Hope everyone had a great Halloween!
