Dr. Samuel Rodriguez COG. 75th General Assembly. What a message!!! God is an awesome God. One faith, one Lord, one touch. One faith teaches to shout down walls. Our faith empowers us to see the invisible. Mark 5:21 When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the lake. Then one of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus, came, and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet. He pleaded earnestly with him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.” So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, (Mark 5:21-27 NIV). One generation us bleeding while the other generation us dying. Jesus still saves, delivers, heals, and is still coming back again!! This woman with an issue of blood touches Jesus BEFORE He touched the daughter of Jairus. Holiness does not share space with sin. The prophetic dies not share space with the pathetic. Something has to go. For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people. (1 Corinthians 14:33 NIV). one Lord, one faith, one baptism; (Ephesians 4:5 NIV). We are one touch away from an awakening that will heal our generation and save the next generation. Dont believe what you see on tv or what you hear on the radio. GOD IS NOT DONE WITH US YET! being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6 NIV) We must go beyond our comfort zone. There is no such thing as comfortable Christianity. Sometimes we have to break in for our breakthrough. The woman with the issue of blood had to go through the crowd in order to get to Jesus for her breakthrough. The enemy has been attacking you not because of what youve done but because of what you are about to do. If youve been through what youve never been through before its only because you are about to see in your life what youve never seen before. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (Isaiah 43:2 NIV). Sometimes we have to go through to get to. Its not a coincidence youve been through it. Joseph went through the pit to get to the palace, the Israelites went through the desert to get to the promised land, Paul went through a storm in order to get to Rome. Jesus went to the cross, then .he went to the grave, in order for us to get to heaven. I can biblically guarantee you that you are not staying stuck through in what you are going through. You are about to come out!! Jesus did not stay in the tomb. Joseph didnt stay in the pit, Paul did not stay in the storm. WE ARE COMING OUT!!!!! We are right here right now because the purpose of God is greater than the brokenness of man. Thats why we praise the way we praise. We praise this way because the size of our praise is directly proportional to the magnitude of the hell that God took us out of. In other words, if He took you out if a little hell then you give Him a little praise, but if He saved you, if He healed you, if He delivered you, if He turned you around and He set your feet in solid ground, then you give God the highest praise! If youve never been challenged then this us not for you, but if youve been through, if you were broken, then you understand that one touch reconciles us with the understanding that God doesnt use those that have it all. he uses those that surrenders it all. Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” (Luke 18:27 NIV). When the woman with the issue of blood heard about Jesus, she came from behind the crowd and touched Him from behind and touched .his cloak and .he wasnt even looking her way. He was on route to heal the next generation. Yet she touched Him. She touched Him. Todays complacency is tomorrows captivity. She did not wait she broke through and touched Him. The most powerful spirit is still the Holy Spirit of almighty God. Theres something that happens when the anointing of God comes upon you!
