Dr. Skanderas Science Class (Ridgefield Press dated June 30,1960) Dr.Skanderas science class had a science fair last week. Pupils worked on projects and exhibits that dealt with different phases of health and science that we studied this year. Some of the displays were:Food rich in vitamins A,B,C and D by Andrea DeWald and Sandra Higgins, radio exhibit by Peter Larsen, telegraph set by Linda Hill, weather display by Sally Cupper, volcano by Lynn Cogswell , minerals and their element breakdown by Beth Moore, charcoal made of green wood by Barbara Martin, sea shells by Marty Cowden and Darrell Lutrus, live tadpoles by Linda Longo,live chinchilla by Barbara Plummer, live salamander by Randy Link, bacteria through a microscope by Gerry Karwoski and Marian Thompson, solar system by Billy Hamer, geranium cuttings by Sharon Hornibrook, history of a powered flight by Charles Williams, South American animals by Dorothy Alexander, parts of the human body and their functions by Patricia Frulla,Marianne Izzo, Nancy Simpson, and Margaret Saunders; electronic magnet by Peter Hazzard and Chester Howard; Breeds of modern horses by Camilla Scott, sigh language of Linda Violette and inclined planes by Alan Wallace.
