The family of the BMW 5-series generously encompasses the 520, 523, 525, 530, 535, 540, 545 and 550 in both petrol (i) and diesel (d). The BMW E60 is an EXECUTIVE and LUXURY sports sedan that phased out the E39. The E60 is much longer, wider, heavier, bigger and higher than its predecessor and offers the pleasant i-drive system. The BMW E60 (5-series)s captivating styling and meticulous finishing were designed by Chris Bangle and Adrian van Hooydonk. Reports reveal that the E60 remains the best selling 5-series of all time (Paukert 2011; First drive: 2011 BMW 5-series is a smooth operator). My personal choice, the BMW-530i, is powered by a 3-litre, double-overhead-cam inline six cylinder (I6) engine. The engine produces an impressive 225 horse power, akanya hela! :).
