Dr. Willie Wilson, businessman, philanthropist and Chairman of the historical Chicago Baptist Institute (CBI) along with the Pastors of the Greater Chicago area present “Economic Empowerment Forum—Part 2” on Monday, July 14th at Chicago State University, 9501 S. King Dr. in Chicago from 11a.m. to 3p.m. Governor Pat Quinn, Gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner and other elected officials have been invited to attend. Dr. Wilson is spearheading this economic empowerment forum to allow the community to demand equitable parity representation as well as a fair share of contracts for African Americans from city and state. “We have an agenda of economic development and economic empowerment and we have integrity,” shared Dr. Wilson who continued “I have a vision for the people and I will not be bought.”
