Dragon Ball Z : Battle of the Gods. 10/10. Long story short, I showed Therissies little brother the fight scene between Teen Gohan and Perfect Cell. (the whole fight, Im talking 2 hours long.) And it made me want to watch the newest DBZ film. So now to the review... Good parts... First off, the BEST Dbz movie yet. If you enjoyed Dragon Ball Z at all as a child/teen, than you will enjoy this movie. Second. The final fight scene was the best fight in DBZ. Looking forward to the new one with Frieza now, simply because that fight scene was so badass. Third. The humor stays true to the characters and actually made me laugh out loud at times. Fourth. Beerus (the villain) and his teacher, Kais, are two very cool characters. The way they traveled, their wardrobes, their characters, and even their home planet-like thing was just awesome. I loved how Beerus was kind of modeled after an Egyptian styled feline, and enjoyed how his character had the playfulness of a cat, and that it wasnt too much, but just right. Without spoiling too much, I found the Saiyen God thing to be pretty awesome. I had heard of the movie before I watched it, (by countless others) but went in with a positive mindset. Everyone told me that it was horrid, but I highly enjoyed it. 10/10. Recommend you watching it. (if youre a DBZ fan.) and to be honest, I will probably purchase it.
