Dragonair (港龍）To Add its Flights to Siem Reap AKP Phnom Penh, August 01, 2013 – Dragonair will add its flights to Siem Reap province in the next three months, according to the flight company’s statement. The company will operate its seasonal service from October 29, 2013 and fly regularly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the statement said. Actually, the Hong Kong-based subsidiary of Cathay Pacific runs around 10 flights per week from Hong Kong to Phnom Penh, and will operate its flights to Siem Reap by using A320 and A321 aircraft. This is a part of marketing for promoting a link among Cambodia, Hong Kong and China by using Hong Kong as a middle region of Asian aviation, said Dragonair Chief Executive Officer Patrick Yeung, adding that the new service will further strengthen Hong Kong’s position as one of the world’s leading aviation hubs and further promote tourism and business ties between Hong Kong and Cambodia. Siem Reap will become the 13th destination to have been launched and also the second destination for the company to have operated its flights to Cambodia.
