Draidor Carnage It may be that a whole generation of people are growing up to hate cops, but this is nothing new. I am 64 years old and by the time I was in my late teens and early twenties we had all learned from experience to hate cops too. Cant say my opinion has changed that much over the years. Cops might be necessary in a large complex society, but most of the time cops act like biker gangs. Actually, I apologise to all biker gangs for that insensitive remark. If we really need the police – and I’m not convinced we do – then, like The Canadian Airborne Regiment before them, the RCMP should be disbanded for their disgraceful, dishonourable behaviour and smaller regional forces should be formed in their place. Not everyone in the Canadian Airborne Regiment engaged in disgraceful conduct, but enough did that the ‘Good’ ones were ashamed to be a part of the organisation anymore. I sometimes wonder if the RCMP isn’t very far away from a similar situation.
