Drain Covers We, as many other areas, have a problem with drain covers being stolen and the metal being sold for scrap! For us this is a major problem because these holes present a huge risk to our animals. If you have an uncovered drain near you, please can you temporarily cover it as we have done here (to make it safe for our wildlife) and report it to the municipality or the rangers. Please ensure that you put a pile of sickle bush over the top to prevent animals stepping the temporary cover! MPPOA are aware of this problem and are looking into alternative options for these covers. Thank you for your help in protecting our animals.
