Drained.....,,but its a happy drained...as in victory drained....as in David and Goliath drained....as in bloodied prayer warrior drained....as in leaping into the chasm, from being forced to but feeling His hands gently slow your fall as they undergird and embrace you....drained as in nothing left but with the confidence that you spent it all on the field...drained...nothing left drained...drained as Elijah on Carmel drained, as a sinking Peter now rescued drained as a Hebrew boy walking back out of the fire drained...drained...totally emptied as in the last time around the wall and it falls look at what God did through everyones prayer and obedience drained..that kind of wrung out yet victorious drained...rare skirmish out of nowhere drained...drained from firing away and it worked drained...drained as in overwhelmed by so much support drained...drained as in holding someone up just as long as you can but then you win drained....lack of sleep drained...overthinking drained....drained from what Doctors told you what could go wrong yet you secretly guard the what ifs and instead choose to inspire faith drained....satisfied, grateful, bolstered, reinforced, affirmed, saturated with all the love and compassion drained...drained...drained...to the point that all you can do is gaze on Fathers face and bask in the deep inner warmth of gratefulness and humility in that He heard and orchestrated and simply just did it...did I mention that Im a little, yet ever so pleasantly drained?
