Drama drama drama drama drama... sigh. Look; Im pretty sick of keeping my mouth shut about this, but theres only so much dealing with a persons broken promises I can deal with. When I moved away from Kansas City, I signed over ownership of the shop I created to the co-owner rather than trying to cash out and take what Id put in as thatd have destroyed the business. Promises were made that nothingd change, Id still be working through the shop for readings, work, and classes, and would simply be doing my stuff via remote. Essentially gave about 4 thou in one swoop of a pen, only to find afterwards that the punishment for moving away was to be accused of keeping work from the shop (my email acct was read through and deleted without any consultation and when I asked what had happened I was directly lied to), my blog was deleted (along with Eddys memorial information and all of my articles) without any warning or notice, or *any* opportunity to back up my writings, and all of my services were wiped from the website as though I never existed AFTER I got a few direct angry emails from people whod said they bought a reading and had never heard from me (when Id never been notified via the shop that someone had bought work I needed to do). EVERY promise was broken. I have no idea even what happened to product I made that I was to be paid for when it sold; nothing was ever shipped back to me nor was I given any statement of items condition or current location. In retrospect I should have forced a closure and collected instead of thinking I could place my trust in promises. This is the real answer to all the questions I get about when are you coming back to KC/teaching a class at the shop/can I get a reading through your site. I clearly put my trust in the wrong person thinking she was being honest and behaving in a way one would expect of a friend.
