One evening the security of a certain church asked his colleague, Have you noticed that elderly man who enters the church every day @ midday and leaves soon after? I have been watching him from my window and feel somewhat uneasy. After all, we have some valuables in the church. Try to have a word with him, please. The very next day the security managed to see him (the old man) while he was just leaving and asked, why do you always come to church? I come to pray, the old man replied. But you dont stay long enough for that! You go up to the altar, turn round and come out again. What does it all mean asked the security man? You are right there, the poor old man answered. I cant say a long prayer, so i come at lunch time and say, Lord Jesus, heres Simon. it may be short, but i feel sure, he hears me. Not long afterwards Simon was run over by a lorry and admitted to a hospital severely injured. You seem to be very happy in spite of all your pain, one of the nurses said to him. of course, answered Simon. i have a visitor every day. A visitor? questioned the nurse. i have never seen anyone here to visit you. When does he/she come? every day @ lunch time.. He stands @ the foot of my bed and just says, simon here is Jesus! My beloved friends have you go to lord in prayer today?? Have you sing @ least two to three praises to him?? Have you worship him today?? Or you just feel that you waking up and seeing the sunlight is by nature?? Do you also feel that you having what to eat, shelter and even not lying on hospital bed today is out of ur smartness?? It so unfortunate that most people take this life for granted. I believe you reading this will make amend and start being grateful to God. If you know you are alive today by Gods mercy, why not comment thank you Lord..
