Draško Adžić graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, Department of Composition and Orchestration under the supervision of Isidora Žebeljan and is currently taking his PhD in Composition at the same faculty. His pieces have been performed in Serbia and abroad: UK, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Armenia, Croatia, FYR Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The teachers and artists he has worked with include Heiner Goebbels, Luca Francesconi, Nigel Osborne, Miguel Mera, members of the Klangforum ensemble, Goran Bregović and various theatre and film directors. Notable successes: - In 2014 started working as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade - won the Sterija prize in 2012 - shortlisted for the Gaudeamus Music Week 2009 prize in Amsterdam - German publishing house Edition Ferrimontana published his piece Glas Gospodenj in 2008 (EF 3378) - Glas Gospodenj received a prize in Belgium (2008 First International Convention for Conductors and Composers) - Dartington College (UK) awarded him with a bursary for the 2008 Summer School Film Music Course - Received a scholarship to attend the 2007 ISA Sommerakademie in Austria Keenly interested in applied music, has so far written a number of scores for short and feature films and documentaries, television programs, art shows and performances, promo videos and theatre plays.
