Dream Team Results We recently asked you, the real fans, who your ultimate dream team would be and what would they be driving? Well some of the results were expected, whilst some of the others were quite surprising. So here goes. Of those who did not compete at all in 2013, James Thompson was your favourite, followed closely by Alain Menu, Tom Chilton, Yvan Muller, Rikard Rydell, Rob Huff, John Cleland & Fabrizio Giovanardi. However none of the above made it into the top three, that would make up the fans ultimate Dream Team. So if there are any team mangers out there with three Honda Civics, which has been selected as the ultimate fan loving machine, then you really need to start talking to Andrew Jordan, Jason Plato, and wait for it.........Aron Smith. This Dream Team could be a possibility for one man in the Paddock, Mike Jordan. Jordans Pirtek outfit already have two Honda Civics, and with team Dynamics announcing new machinery for 2014, a third car could quite easily be purchased for a three car assault on the 2014 championship, provided he could also bag Plato & Smith. Colin Turkington & Gordon Shedden narrowly missed out on our ultimate team, with Tom Onslow-Cole, Dan Welch, Rob Austin, Mat Jackson & newcomer Jack Goff all being highly selected. Lea Wood and Paul ONeill were the best of the rest, ahead of newcomers Jake Hill & Sam Tordoff, Triple Champion Matt Neal & Rob Collard. Surprisingly there were two current proven race winners who didnt even get a mention, and they were the Toyota duo of the very popular Dave Newsham & Frank Wrathall. So whats the chances of our Dream Team becoming a reality? Very slim we think, but for now we can but dream. Please feel free to share this post as you never know who, might just read it.
