Dream Theater has been my favorite band for so long I couldnt imagine returning to all dull simplistic music... Without Dream Theaters brand of what I call... A Musicians Music... the world would be deaf to the extent that beginning with a single note... how it is manipulated into a progressive series of complicated, complimented, constant changing, always evolving, challenging sound... that can... and does... explode into a musical orgasm to be explored many times over before penetrating the full composition to be truly comprehended by the human ear... to the emotion of sound and vibrations... reaching the heart and soul of what music is capable of in the mind of the right visionary beginning with that first note. I of course like most genres and like many many bands but Dream Theater has a special place in my ear. Although I pride myself on being eclectic and fortunate that I enjoy many different types of music, all having a different meaning and purpose. However when I want to be stimulated by music and all its intricate and infinite complications then Dream Theater has my ear.
