*Dream job* “Congratulations on being selected in our company! Here is your offer letter,” the employer said to him. “But, here the CTC offered is only one lac per annum, sir. It isnt as you promised!” he replied in bewilderment. “It is only during the training period, once you finish it, you’ll get your desired appraisal. Relax!” the employer assured him. “Okay, sir. What is the duration of the training period?” “Two years.” “But, that’s too much, sir! How will I survive on this salary for this long?” “Everybody does, and so will you. You should thank god that you got this wonderful opportunity to work with such a prestigious company like ours. It is a dream job, many others will even die for it. Now, will you please sign on our bond form.” “What kind of bond, sir?” “That, you’ll not leave the company for four years at least. In case you do, you’ll have to pay us three lac as compensation money.” “But, sir, I am not even going to earn that much. How will I be able to pay?” “Relax, why are you even thinking about it? You will not want to leave the company anyway. We provide the best of class facilities. It is a dream job, many others will even die for it. So lastly, sign on our agreement form, please.” “What kind of agreement, sir?” “That you are comfortable in working in any shift and weekends too, if needed.” “But, sir, that will be quite a hectic schedule. How will I be able to maintain the work-life balance?” “Relax, why are you worrying about that? Did you see our office? It has state of art infrastructure. We have high quality food in our cafeteria. It’s a dream job, many others will even die for it. I can assure you, you will never want to go home.” “Oh, really, sir?
