Dreamin: a short poem by D.Boom Ive been having fantasies about you for a year now and im still Telling you theyre nightmares. A day without you, A true definition of a night terror. Never needed anyone so near, so close, or by my side. My daily objective is to be yours for tonight. I ignore those subtle signs out of spite, out of pride; Or on any dark day..or bright night..Like Christmas in July. Im...Caught up in the essence of your very being. (Dreamin) I...search that windows of your soul for my reflection. Ive learned and yearned for your direction. The brick wall the stands between you and I blocks thine affection... Towards me..neither he nor she has anything to do with we. So why can we be? In a world of unrest, theres always sleep. In the land of wolves, theres always sheep. Sure the Ocean has shallow waters, but surely some places are deep.. Like the place in my heart...where forever youll be. It takes two to tango, it takes two to meet... Ive stayed true to you, so just stay true to we This wait that I stand in is patient but meek, So...Ill take my chances..the damage..defeat.. But the wars far from over, Ill manage..Ill keep.
