Dresden or Bust! Not what we wanted yesterday but not time to write us of yet. In a strange way I actually think the result against FSV might help us. The equation has been made very simply. We win and were playing Darmstadt in the playoffs and anything less then were back in Liga 3. There are no two stalls to fall between, there is no indecision as to whether we should stick or twist, just a straight forward case of win at all costs. I think this may well be to our advantage. I say this not because I think we couldnt handle such complication as the draw being in our favour, just that I dont think it will suite us to try and play the type of game FSV produced. Despite three consecutive nil-nils at home, I still feel were better playing on the front foot. (Something that Stefan Kramer clearly thought and, judging by the results, he may well have been right!). Of what Ive seen of Dresden of the past couple of weeks theyre very open and will almost certainly leak goals. Their 50 goals against so far this season seems to bare this out. I dont think theyre up to seeing out the game next week. I just cant see a nil-nil and expect us to score. The benefit is well have the freedom to simply go at them and to hell with the consequences which may well allow us to play with the fluidity that could win us the game. We showed last week in Bochum that we can dispose of teams like this so lets hope we can repeat the performance and result. Heres to a march on Dresden, survival and sending those ****s down into the bargain. A good day to be had for the DSC next Sunday so let have um!
