Driftless Glen Distillery sits on the edge of the Driftless Area in Wisconsin. Surrounded by bluffs and the sandy soils Aldo Leopold wrote of in his Sand County Almanac, this region provides the grains, water, and temperature variations that give our products their distinct “terroir” and make our barrels unique in all the world. Come visit us along the banks of the Baraboo River, the longest mainstream restored free flowing river in America. Our tours will take you through every inch of our production area, from our grains and mash, to our fermentation tanks and process, stills … all ending with a leisurely tasting of spirits. If you choose, you can also sample our array of olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Our restaurant has salads, charcuterie trays featuring cheeses from throughout the Driftless Area and meats from around the world.
