Drill and Blast Engineer - Global coal producer - QLD Great NSW residential location Excellent salary, benefits and lifestyle Stable international Mining Company We are looking for an experience Drill & Blast Engineer for an Open Pit coal mine in QLD. In this role you will be working for an International Coal Producer as apart of the Technical department on their open pit coal mine in QLD. This is a residential position and is complimented by a generous salary and benefits package; including, relocation + allowances and performance bonuses. As part of this role, some of duties may include: Scheduling of OB and Coal Drills Designing of Drill patterns Designing and Implementation of blast designs including explosive selection and loading Tie up plans and cost monitoring Budgeting and forecasting Suitable candidates will have over a years experience in a similar role for an open pit mine. You will need a degree in Mining Engineer and understanding of safety and mining standards in the Australian mining sector. Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $130k - $150k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
