Drilling stone with a one inch diameter drill bit is one of the toughest thing my body has ever endured. When the drill bit catches the powerful drill that turns it sends you flieing. It happens often. The drills gripping handle smacks into your ribs,hip or thighs. You feel it for days later. When the carbide drill becomes dull you throw it away. I have developed a deep respect for that drill. I hold it in my hand and remember all the hits I took. I also think of how much work I got done with this drill and what I have done looks great because of it. So now I throw it away,buy a new one,and do it all over again.
