Drinkers Of The Wind.... There is something quit profound in the above statement and after watching all the Yearlings galloping earlier this evening, as the Sun set... The Management Team sat discussing this point in more detail later this evening. Our founding Owner mentioned something, that brings to the fore, and that being ~ the measurement of Time. In our busy modern lives, we measure time by the minute. Days have no meaning, as we rush from meeting to meeting. He himself has a deep association & connection with the Arabian Peninsula. The true great Bedouin horseman there measure Time, not in days, but by the Seasons ... In that time stands still, as there we wait for the great Mares to foal. Seasons there go between the collecting of Dates and that of the Mares foaling down. He has a special Bronze here in the garden, which he often refers to and the Arab proverb :- .... as Time and the Wind of Heaven, is that which blows between a horses ears. Sometimes we need to sit back & show appreciation and gratification, in the things in our lives, no matter how challenging or comforting, those times may well be.
