Relay transports cannot operate if there is a missing link in the chain, and the rescue animals suffer as a result. If an emergency arises that prevents you from driving you must notify the transport coordinator as soon as possible. Please be respectful of the entire team that has been assembled. DRIVERS: Please bring collars, leashes and slip leads. Route times are rounded up to the nearest 5 minutes, with 10 minutes added in between for bathroom/gas/food/potty breaks. Additional time has also been added for travel through metropolitan areas. ***When temperature is high in the area, please use caution when walking dogs. Paws are much better off on grass and/or dirt than they are on super-hot asphalt*** Please note that the nature of transport creates some risk for those involved. The animals can be sweet, but are under a great deal of stress in the rescue and transport phases.
