Driving across the High Level Bridge looking at the fog coming off the North Saskatchewan River when this sombre masterpiece comes on the CBC radio. I have enjoyed this song since my teenage years when I first heard it performed on a Moog synthesizer by Walter Carlos on the Clockwork Orange soundtrack. But today the radio host revealed an interesting piece of trivia.
