Driving down the road this evening, I literally ran across a line of at least 8 baby quail following their mother across the road. The road was wet and Cora was in the backseat, so there wasnt much I could do. I cringed as I passed over, thinking I had taken out at least half of them. After I passed over, I turned the car around and went back to the spot where they were. I dont know how, but I missed every one of them! I was sure glad!
