Driving down the street thinking about my life reflecting on how Good God is & as I looked in my rearview mirror to park I looked at myself and said I dont know what I would do without my grandparents or where I would be !!! BEFORE I KNEW JESUS I knew Willie and Beverly not that I dont have parents because I do but today I salute my grandPARENTS I am beyond blessed to have/ had two of the best grandparents anybody could have asked for . Even when my grandmother is fussing working every little inch of a nerve I think I have since I grew up hearing you dont have any nerves lol . I think I have some left and I love me some Beverly Ellis . Shes genuine, kind loving , giving (when she wanna be) lol & a friend indeed. She is funny & her sarcasm will take u out lol ... When anyone needs her to talk, cry to look at a sore (grandchildren) even though we all are grown we call our grandmother ask quick as possible !! Shes a mother to us all ! Its not Mothers Day its not her birthday I just believe in giving those that matter there flowers while they can smell them !! ❤️ ! The other half of her was my papa and boy oh boy I wouldnt be who I am today if it wasnt for his teaching and wisdom!! My pastor who taught me what faith was and Walked by faith not by sight not just preached it!! A GREAT EXAMPLE!! My friend who listened to me countless of times explain myself, cry or just ask a million questions . My tell me when Im wrong and when Im right . He was truly the definition of a GRANDFATHER!!! The joy that I have found in losing a loved one is the fact you can sit and ponder on the good times and even though that person is gone u can recall everything they have said and still live as if they were sitting next to you giving you advice..! Most importantly no matter what one of the MOST INFLUENTIAL THINGS MY GRANDPARENTS SHOWED THAT WILL STICK WITH ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE IS AN ACTIVE PRAYER LIFE!!! I dont care what we were going through individually or even as a family!!! WE WOULD PRAY ABOUT IT OR THEY WOULD PRAY ABOUT IT!! Nothing like your grandparents laying hands on you!!! THEY TAUGHT ME HOW TO ACTIVATE MY FAITH AND KEEP IT MOVING!!!! I salute My Shorty & say Rest In Heaven to My Main Man WJ Ellis !! 👌😍❤️💙
