Driving home from church yesterday, listening to This American Life on NPR, we heard a segment of a broadcast that sounded familiar, especially when Dr. George F. Bass starred talking. It was an update of a 2010 program on discovery of a Byzantine shipwreck off Turkey back in the 60s. I called George and told him about listening to my cuz on the radio. You can hear him if you download the podcast #399 of This American Life. BTW, there probably will a memorial service for Robert Bass on April 4 at the Old Neck Cemetery.
