Driving home from reffing a high school swim meet in Newton, Kansas tonight. Eating a slice of Caseys General Store pizza and drinking coffee trying to keep any and all of it off of my new whites. I was listening to the local public radios nightly show Strange Currency. (They play new and obsolete sounds that arent quite mainstream, but are definitely worth a listen.) Along comes a song that has bit of a Cajun ring to it, but has a good overall sound and is fairly clean. I notice that the vocalist has a very nasal tone to his voice and Im wondering why in the world someone would want to sound like that and then it starts sinking in - Im listening to a Bob Dylan song that Ive never before heard. ;)
