Driving home to Prineville from Eugene tonight I was pulled over by one of Oregons finest. He very politely educated Bill and I on the use of fog or driving lights. The law says they are to be used just like high beam lights. You must turn them off within 500 feet of approaching vehicles and within 350 feet of a followed vehicle. The officer was extremely nice, no ticket or warning was issued. He gave us a pamphlet explaining the use of these lights, asked us to drive safely and to have a good evening. Sharing this info as I see a lot of folks using these lights incorrectly.
