Driving home today I got an idea for a story. Far in the future there are all kinds of problems, Political repression, Economic oppression And global tyranny in unprecedented form. So desperate and unable to do anything about it In their own time, A group of those future dwellers select one of their number to go back in time, to come back here to now, the point in time in which it all began, to somehow stop the metadata dragnet in its tracks. Because from their perspective in the future it was the metadata dragnet that started the whole ugly thing in which they lived.
